Beginner Yoga

We introduce the new yogis slowly and gently. We use blocks, straps and blankets to assist the student in asanas. Attention to detail is practiced in order to teach good habits and perhaps remove some bad ones. We move at a slower pace, incorporating pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation. Also ideal, but not limited to persons with injuries and pre-natal moms.

Chair Yoga

This class is specifically designed to suit the needs of those who require more time and assistance to bring some flexibility, strength and balance to the bodies that have been around for a while! From arthritis to anxiety, mobility to memory, the benefits are real. You will learn very basic postures, stretching, breathing and meditation.

Gentle Yoga

A slower, gentler approach to the practice of yoga, but still receiving all the benefits. We include meditation, breathing practices, gentle stretching and strengthening poses. This is suitable for seniors, students with injuries and also pre and post natal students. Relaxing & refreshing.

Hatha

Traditional asanas are taught, leading to a more flexible, strong and balanced body. Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies. This is where you can build the foundation of your practice as you are taught the fundamentals of yoga, with emphasis on correct alignment. Good amount of pranayama and meditation are also taught. Great class for both beginners and seasoned yogins.

Hatha Flow

We begin with Sun salute warm ups, and then move into postures, keeping the flow element. We expand on other aspects of yoga such as chanting, mudras and pranayama and meditation. This class offers a great variety of postures, that are available for all due to the modifications taught.

H-I-I-T Yoga

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) yoga is exactly what it sounds like: A yoga session and a HIIT class rolled into one. The classes are structured with a combination of high-intensity, cardio-based flows that will get your heart pumping and your muscles working, and slow-flow stretches to relieve any tension. Your body will feel stronger and more limber by the time your workout is over.

Sound Healing

A meditative and relaxing experience where the vibrations from sound bowls, gongs, and bells create a magical nourishing environment where sound can heal. Class is set in a dimmer, candlelight space.

Vinyasa Flow

The class moves with fluidity, linking each movement with the breath. Although some of the asanas are challenging, they are not held for more than a few breaths. It is an energizing, creative class. Suitable for all levels-modifications are always offered.

Yogalates

YOGA+PILATES makes the perfect balance for those who want to combine their two practices. Our instructors think up creative ways to challenge the core and the yogic spirit.

Yoga Nidra

Also known as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness, Yoga Nidra is an ancient practice of guided mediation practiced while lying down. It is intended to induce a deep meditative state of consciousness, from where one consciously creates one’s healing. Deep relaxation is one of the spontaneous “side effects”. The antidote to our often chronically exhausted, overstimulated world.

Community Yoga Classes

60-minute Level 1-2 classes are taught by Juluka’s new yoga teacher trainers and recent graduates from our 200-hr Certification Program. We ask for an $8.00 donation to take the class (or you can use a class-pack) and 100% of the donations go to the month’s selected and worthy charity/organization.
