• ACCELERATED SPRING/SUMMER 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training: May 17th, 2019 - August 11th, 2019

      • (HD) Juluka Yoga Hillsdale: 394 Hillsdale Ave, Hillsdale NJ
      • (RE) Juluka Yoga River Edge: 888 Kinderkamack Rd, River Edge NJ
    • Additional commitments of attending 25 approved Juluka Yoga Studio classes led by program teachers (averages to about 2 classes per week), taking six(6) outside class written observations, and completing homework readings and assignments *Please see  Curriculum & Requirements  for more details

    This accelerated training is designed to provide you with the full comprehensive elements of our 200-hour program over an intense 3 month time. Your commitment: attend all scheduled training weekends per month and regular attendance at Juluka classes during the training period.  Your Yoga Teacher Training will take you on an amazing journey, but it requires dedication and discipline from your part to get the most out of the program. Please read through the Curriculum and Requirements carefully.

    From your day of enrollment, you can get 6 months unlimited classes and select workshops at the studio. (There is also an alternate program option/fee that allows for just 3 months of unlimited classes).

    The Spring/Summer Accelerated program is a wonderful choice for Teachers or College Students who have summers available and we offer some beneficial pricing for those that can only attend for just the 3 months training time. Please review the program Fees, deadlines dates, and payment options.

  • Our program gives you the techniques, knowledge, experience and confidence to be a great, creative and compassionate teacher. You will be immersed in all aspects of yoga and develop skills in the fundamentals and methodology of teaching yoga with an emphasis on vinyasa yoga, but always with strong mindfulness on correct alignment. Our progressive, foundation-based approach will cover 50 postures and how to sequence the asanas in a fluid and energetic manner. You will learn the basics of pranayama and meditation and how to incorporate these important aspects of yoga into your classes. Due to the physical nature of vinyasa, we will discuss anatomy/physiology and how it relates to posture and alignment during class. We'll explore the philosophy and ethics of yoga as well as finding teaching opportunities after graduation and the business side of being a yoga teacher.

    You will begin thinking like a teacher from the first session. You will also have ample practical experience as you soon start to teach community classes at the studio.

    The program is affordable and we offer a payment plan. Our previous graduates all agree that this investment was soon offset after they started teaching.

    Soo Yoon joined Mandy Grant in teaching the 200-hour Certification programs in 2015. Together, this dynamic duo brings over 20 years of yoga teaching experience to this compassionate, yet disciplined course of study.

    Mandy Grant (ERYT-500 and Ayurveda Specialist) is in her 12th year of training yoga teachers and is celebrated as a true Teacher’s Teacher. She started the first Juluka Yoga Studio almost 14 years ago and has lovingly cultivated a thriving community of caring, mindful students and teachers for which there is no equal. To learn with Mandy is to feel challenged and nurtured in your personal growth.

    Soo Yoon (ERYT-500) has been sharing her passion for Yoga teaching at studios, fitness centers, and corporate clients (including the NY Giants Football team) in the Northern NJ/NY area since 2013. She has trained extensively with Mandy Grant for 7 years and fully embodies the heart of Juluka Yoga Studio’s beloved signature style, which she has built onto with her own vibrant approach. Soo is lauded for her commitment to her students’ development and growth - she continues to mentor many of her yoga teacher graduates.

    We are also joined by exceptional Juluka teaching staff and talented guest instructors who enrich this program for a thorough and life-changing experience!
