Yoga, Wellness and Healthy Cooking Workshop Series

Learn how to shift into living a healthy lifestyle though Yoga and Food, from the comfort of your own home and kitchen!
This 5 Classes Workshop Series will take place via Online Zoom Meeting on selected Sundays from 1:00pm – 3:30pm (2.5 hours each) from October 2020 through April 2021.
Each session will include a themed yoga class, wellness information, and a vegan and/or Ayurvedic cooking demonstration with a seasonal menu to tie in to the theme. All tasty recipes and notes will be forwarded to the participants before the classes take place.

Joan D’Amico, Ed. D has completed her RYT-500 certification at Juluka Yoga Studio in Spring 2020, teaches yoga part time and has been a regular yoga student for over 20 years. She also has a background in Foods and Nutrition, vegan and vegetarian cooking, and has taught cooking classes to adults and children throughout the tristate area.



Session 5: Sunday, April 25, 2021 1:00- 3:30pm ET
Theme – Rebuild
1:00-2:00pm Vinyasa class all levels focusing on backends and strengthening poses
Break – 15 minutes
2:15-3:30pm In this part of the workshop we will discuss strategies for rebuilding and remaking ourselves during the spring season. In the online kitchen, Joan will be demonstrating some of her favorite springtime vegan recipes, utilizing delicious fruits and vegetables of the season.
