Jason and Mandy have joined together to create a beautiful and exciting retreat, hosted at the stunning Amansala Eco-chic resort in Tulum, Mexico. Their hours of collaboration brought them to this divine location, where one can effortlessly commune with nature, experience the "tattvas", enjoy delicious healthy meals, practice yoga in a gorgeous studio and enjoy "western style" comfort and luxury all set against the backdrop of a spectacular beach! Mandy and Jason have been friends and colleagues for over a decade. Mandy met Jason during a gym yoga class where she immediately connected to his natural and warm teaching style, and immediately offered him a job at Juluka Yoga Studio, where he ended up teaching for several years. Their idea of co-hosting this retreat was a no brainer once they started talking about it, enthused with ideas to delight and deliver to the guests.
Please join them on this adventure, where you will celebrate life, cultivate new friendships, enjoy the local culture and just have a fabulous time! If you know either of them, you know you will receive excellent instruction in all aspects of yoga.

Tattvas & Treasures
Tattva is a Sanskrit word meaning 'that", 'principle', 'reality' or 'truth'. In tantra and Sankhya, tattvas are used to explain the creation and the existence of the Universe.
The tattvas are our essential elements, they are the building blocks of our existence. During our retreat we will use the tools of asana, meditation, pranayama and healthy diet, self reflection and knowledge to navigate back "home". We will connect with our true, original self, our treasure trove within, as we "retreat" from regular life, pulling in all the energy that’s otherwise fanned out and thinned out in multiple directions. Our yoga practice will develop and strengthen. From this place, we get a new perspective, we re-energize. We find inspiration. We breath life into our lives, we rekindle joy and laughter. We get to listen, we hear the wind, the ocean, the birds and the quiet of our own hearts. We get to unload and clear out the mental clutter. We will leave the retreat lightened, clearer, recharged, refreshed, and more present. This new perspective can guide us to make changes in our lives so as to unveil all the treasures life has to offer!

Mandy Grant has been leading yoga retreats in various parts of the world for many years. Her innate sense of adventure and love of travel have taken her and her yogis to India, Costa Rica and other exotic locations. Mandy is the founder of Juluka Yoga Studio and School, Hillsdale NJ, where she teaches and also heads their fine teacher training school. She is as comfortable in NJ as she is in Africa or Hawaii. Mandy's dedication to yoga and bringing it to the people in any environment is what makes her a perfect retreat leader.
"I have participated in several retreats Mandy has led in the past, taking away lasting memories and unique experiences (some of which include surfing and learning trapeze in the Dominican Republic and traveling through northern India). Mandy creates a retreat that is engaging (physically, mentally and spiritually), fun and that leaves plenty of room for self reflection. Without being obvious, Mandy sets a tone and creates a comfortable atmosphere that encourages and allows comradery among fellow retreaters to flourish. Her love for travel and different cultures further creates possibilities for what a retreat, in essence, promises - an opportunity to see oneself from a different perspective."

[The India Soul Adventure] was a very well -planned itinerary and everything went perfectly. You know why? With Mandy behind the scenes, everything was safe, simple and organized. I confess it all boils down to traveling with an experienced person – Mandy’s previous career as a travel agent in addition to being a wonderful Yoga teacher and friend resulted in our group loving and enjoying every bit of it. Our group was very diverse and fun, almost like we had traveled together before. So fear not, pack your bags, and prepare for the retreat of your life. Let go and let Mandy guide you to enjoying the ride!
"The Northern India Soul Adventure with Juluka Yoga was undoubtedly one of the most interesting, beautiful, serene, adventurous, peaceful, and AMAZING experiences of my life. Along with studying under the incomparable Mandy Grant in the valleys that bred the beginnings of yoga over 5,000 years ago, the local culture, landscape, and people were nothing short of remarkable. The retreat was planned perfectly and resulted a perfect array of new experiences, friendships, and memories that will certainly last a lifetime. I will be signing up for the next trip!
