Mat Pilates

We teach group mat Pilates, using props. We incorporate the ring and light weights in our classes. Our Pilates classes are a combination of basic and advanced. So whether the client is a beginner or advanced, they are able to participate. Our teachers are highly qualified and very experienced, therefore well versed in integrating students of all levels into the same class. This is done by providing modifications where necessary, and offering hands on individual attention. Pilates encourages a better posture, and also provides bone mass density. Another wonderful benefit, especially for women, is the strengthening and control it delivers to the pelvic floor region. Pilates is practiced more and more by professional sports men, due to the flexibility it brings to the body. A golf game may be enhanced. Cyclists, runners and other aerobic sports people benefit from Pilates, as it compliments the muscles that are shortened and over-trained by these activities, by lengthening them.
